Upside Relaunches Daily News and Insider Newsletter

Upside Magazine, a monthly business and finance magazine focused on the business of technology, has relaunched its daily news site, Upside.com. The site, which will be managed by the same editorial team that produces the monthly print magazine, provides news and information on the business of technology. A redesign of the site, including the addition of new features, is in progress and will be released next month.

"Today's C-level decision maker is looking for a single source of information that can provide strategic intelligence, as well as up-to-date news," said Lester Craft, editor-in-chief of Upside. "While there are many news sites from which to choose, Upside.com will seek to be the single, focused source for executives who need quick access, on a daily basis, to the most relevant information on the business of technology."

In addition to re-introducing news on its website, Upside also recently relaunched its free weekly newsletter, which is distributed to 112,000 opt-in subscribers every Monday. The newsletter provides insight on major technology developments.

"When Lester Craft came on board as editor-in-chief earlier this month his first mission was to improve the value of our electronic media for our readers, and he quickly identified new growth opportunities in the website and newsletter," said Upside CEO John Carroll. "We have already seen a dramatic improvement in the reader feedback on the newsletter, and I expect our results on Upside.com will demonstrate the same effect."
