Integrity Music to Launch iWorship Brand

Posted on July 12, 2002

Integrity Media, Inc., a media company that produces, publishes and distributes Christian music, books and related products, announced the planned upcoming launch of a new brand, iWorship. The new praise and worship brand will be developed by the Company's Integrity Music and M2 Communications subsidiaries, along with Maranatha! Music.

Billed by Integrity as a "total worship experience," iWorship will feature a series of double CDs offering bestselling contemporary and emerging modern worship songs, as determined by SoundScan and CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing Inc. tracks the songs being sung in over 140,000 churches in the U.S. and globally). The collection will also feature a line of DVDs, which Integrity will target to large and small corporate worship settings, home cell worship groups and youth groups. iWorship songbooks and accompaniment tracks will also be available.

"The iWorship products will launch on the heels of Integrity's hugely successful Songs4Worship and WoW Worship series, which together have sold over 7.5 million double CDs," noted P. Michael Coleman, Chief Executive Officer of Integrity Media. "The same production team that developed those collections will be creating the iWorship products. Our goal is to offer the market a series unique to the praise and worship genre."

The partnership plans to launch iWorship with a multi-channel marketing campaign that includes advance promotion involving television, retail, direct mail, the Internet, direct-to-church and live conference positioning of the iWorship brand at Women of Faith, Family Life, and Seminars4Worship conferences. The advertising campaign will include trade and consumer print advertising, radio ad buys and banner ads on a variety of websites. Television exposure will include a two-minute ad to be produced and placed by Integrity's general market distribution partner, Sony/Epic. iWorship will premier at the CBA (Christian Booksellers Association) International Convention in Anaheim, California, on July 13-18, 2002.
