SAS Publishing Partners With iUniverse to Offer Ebooks

SAS Publishing's ebook site is now hosted by and cobranded with iUniverse, a new SAS Publishing partner. The new cobranded site provides security for SAS ebooks and the ability to easily add new titles. The Sas ebooks are delivered in Portable Document Format (PDF) and can be read with the Adobe Ebook Reader. Initially, iUniverse will host 18 SAS titles on the new site with plans to add more upon customers' requests.

"SAS Publishing has the technology and infrastructure to take advantage of the changes taking place in the publishing industry," said Sean Gargan, director of SAS Publishing. "Our goal is to partner with other industry leaders and innovators to make SAS books available from a variety of sources, in a variety of formats. Cobranding our e-book site with iUniverse is a win-win for SAS Publishing and SAS users around the world."

Offerings include ebooks, online documentation, CD-ROM (HTML and PDF), web-based training, and traditional hardcopy printed books.
