St. Anthony Publishing and Medicode, providers of
healthcare data and information, are taking on the name of
their parent company, Ingenix, in the culmination of a union
that began four years ago.
Customers of both companies will see a new logo and new
look and feel from their publications and software.
"We have tried to be sensitive to our customers during this merger and limit the amount of confusion in and around any name changes," said Kevin Marcum, president/CEO of the Ingenix Syndicated Content Group. "It's important for customers to understand that the technical expertise and quality for which our products and services are known have not changed." The two companies are adopting the Ingenix name to underscore the breadth and depth of products and services they now offer as one company, he added. "Supporting our one company philosophy, our newly integrated customer service group and streamlined online shopping experience at www.IngenixOnline.com will provide unparalleled service to our customers." The migration to the Ingenix name is the end of a methodical process that began in 1998 when Ingenix acquired both Medicode and St. Anthony Publishing. Both companies operated separately, but were joined under the Ingenix umbrella.
