Posted on August 6, 2002

ID Four Ltd. announced that it has entered into a relationship with Swung Inc., the company that publishes Swung Magazine, a men's entertainment publication. The intent of the agreement is that Swung will acquire a controlling interest in ID Four Ltd. and execute its business strategy by building significant publishing capacity through the continued development of Swung Magazine and by acquiring other emerging magazines and periodicals.

Jason T. Miller, the president of Swung, commented, "We are excited by the potential of our new public venture and anticipate outstanding business opportunities for the company in the publishing field."

Earlier this year, Swung joined the world of magazine publishing by presenting the premier issue of Swung Magazine, its flagship publication, with a red carpet Los Angeles launch party attended by notables from a variety of industries and artistic communities, including movies, music and fashion.

The launch issue of Swung Magazine was distributed on newsstands across North America, as well as in Europe, Asia and Australia. The premiere edition of Swung consisted of 96 pages (all color, perfect bind) and gave readers a sense of the style and content in future editions the magazine. Upcoming issues will be larger, more comprehensive, and will delve further into the world of artist, entertainers and their crafts.

Borne of an Internet publication that went online in 1999, Swung is organized into several sections including Day Today, Portfolio, Add+Venture, One on One, Fashion, Fiction, as well as a detailed feature on the Cover subject. Music and movies are an integral pastime of the target audience of Swung Magazine. Swung says its goal is not just be a critic of these art forms, but to delve inside the artist, actor or producer to understand their life from a different perspective than mainstream magazine.
