Gothamwood Entertainment Launches Indievision Magazine

Posted on October 18, 2002

Gothamwood Entertainment has launched Indievision Magazine, a quarterly magazine about the people and business of independent filmmaking. Indievision features film festival coverage, profiles on actors, directors, producers, and writers; technical articles, and book, software, and film reviews. The New York City official launch party, will take place on Wednesday, November 6th from 8:00-11:00pm @ Sugar 311 Church St. between Walker and Canal.

After this year's Sundance Film Festival, partners Kevin DelGaudio and TJ Stone realized that there was a serious lack of humor and true entertainment in the content of most independent film publications. They decided the medium desperately needed a new breath of life. DelGaudio felt "it was my God given right to take matters into my own hands! Independent publications, while informative, remain considerably boring. It was time to liven things up." So, after six short months of planning, teammates DelGaudio and Stone have launched Indievision Magazine, with actor Robert DeNiro on the cover of their premiere issue.

DelGaudio is a hands on publisher and contributes his wit and sarcasm generously throughout the magazine, while nurturing fresh writing talent and securing industry experts to fill the pages with informative and entertaining articles. He also announced that Jaid Barrymore has just joined the Indievision family, as Associate Editor. She will be writing an advice column as well as interviewing celebrities for feature articles.
