The site aims to be a vital resource for those who follow trends in Internet marketing and media. MarketingFix, a collaborative weblog, will aggregate stories from dozens of other publications every day with short summaries, links and additional comments to help put the news in context. MarketingFix organizes its news briefs according to dozens of categories, such as Online Advertising, Search Marketing, Email Marketing, Rich Media and Online Branding. The site is a commercial venture and plans to accept advertising in the near future. MarketingFix's slogan reads, "Independent e-marketing news (until we sell out)." The five partners in the service, Rick E. Bruner, John Engler, Steve Hall, Robert Loch and Olivier Travers, collectively have more than 30 years experience working inside the Internet marketing and media sectors. Rick E. Bruner is a strategic consultant and market researcher, president of Executive Summary Consulting, Inc., based in New York City. John Engler is an advertising sales professional specializing in technology and travel since 1996, based in Austin, TX. Steve Hall is a 17-year veteran of the ad agency world, having held media positions at Bozell, Starcom, and Leo Burnett. Robert Loch is an Internet marketing consultant specializing in viral, digital buzz and integrated marketing. Olivier Travers is an online marketing consultant focused on strategy and information architecture who helps bridge the gap between technology and its business implementation.
