Friday, November 22, 2002 Earth Media Launches Long Island Lifestyle Magazine Earth Media, Inc., a Roslyn, NY based publishing company, announced the launch of Elements, a complimentary, Long Island lifestyle magazine that is "devoted to the essential components of Long Island living." Featuring homes, travel, food, real-estate, architecture, health, fashion, the arts, "must haves," "movers and shakers," interesting places and companies making a difference on Long Island, Elements will be published quarterly with an initial circulation of 25,000 issues. Scott Neher, Earth Media, Inc. president and publisher of Elements magazine said, "I felt it was time to create a publication that would mirror the consciousness of our communities on Long Island. We the people make this community special. Our style, ambitions and visions are what create the atmosphere and quality of life to which we have become accustomed. I feel privileged to be an integral part of this community and am proud to introduce Elements magazine." Elements co-publisher and design director for Earth Media Eric Neher said, "We created a magazine that appeals to the esthetics and sensibilities of a sophisticated audience that has previously been overlooked in terms of having their own magazine. Elements is a publication that was designed with a refinement to that end. As the magazine's design director, we put these thoughts into action by reaching them on that level." Earth Media, Inc. is a publishing company and support venture for Elements magazine. A subsidiary of Earth Investors Group or EIG, Earth Media, Inc. is located at 14 Tower Place within the historic district of downtown Roslyn, NY. Future plans for the subsidiary include publishing Elements magazine on bi-monthly basis as well as publishing additional magazines and entering the production end of the video and infomercial markets.
