Friday, April 4, 2003 Media Cynic | Forum | Advertising | Classifieds | Jobs Bookspan Launches International Book-of-the-Month The novel will be offered in book clubs spanning four continents and more than 15 countries, including China, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Italy, Australia, France, Canada and the Czech Republic, among other locations. The book will be published in the native language of each country. The International Book-of-the-Month is the first-ever global program of the DirectGroup to provide club members with one pre-selected title that has been chosen by the editors of clubs in the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia. Bookspan, a partnership of Bertelsmann AG and AOL Time Warner Inc., initiated the program. Harlan Coben is the first author to win the Edgar, Shamus and Anthony Awards in the United States. No Second Chance will be published April 28, 2003 by Dutton, a member of Penguin Group (USA). Coben's earlier novels include Tell No One (2001) and Gone for Good (2002). Born in 1962, Coben lives in New Jersey, is married and has four children under the age of eight.
