World Digital Video Association Launches Online Publication

The World Digital Video Association's (WDVA) has launched DV EDge.com, an online publication and news service. DV Edge.Com covers all aspects of digital video worldwide, including moviemaking, television, HDTV, commercial and industrial video, videogames, streaming media, prosumers, and academia.

"We are excited about DV Edge.Com and all of the original content provided by our writers and journalists," said Tom Clancy, WDVA President and Chief Operating Officer.

DV Edge.Com takes an in-depth look at the important stories of the day in the digital video industry. From interviews with actors like Andy Serkis, who played Gollum in Lord Of The Rings, and special-effects wizard Bill Taylor (most recently on Bruce Almighty), to articles on applying makeup in high-definition productions, regular columns from all over the world, and business stories that affect the industry. DV Edge.Com will publish new feature content weekly and major industry news headlines when they happen. Readers can access the publication either through the WDVA website or directly at dvedge.com.
