Mr. Keller is currently an Op-Ed columnist and senior writer for The New York Times Magazine. In the coming weeks Mr. Keller plans to evaluate the organization of the newsroom's top management and name additional members of the team that will lead The Times. Mr. Keller, 54, became Op-Ed columnist and senior writer for The New York Times Magazine in 2001. Mr. Keller joined The New York Times in 1984 as a domestic correspondent based in the Washington bureau. · After a nationwide search, Amy Dickinson has been named advice columnist at the Chicago Tribune. Her column, "Ask Amy: Advice for the real world by Amy Dickinson," will debut July 20 in the Tribune's Sunday Q section. Dickinson succeeds the legendary Ann Landers (Eppie Lederer) who passed away in June 2002. While the Chicago Tribune will serve as "Ask Amy's" home paper, the column will be syndicated worldwide by Tribune Media Services, a subsidiary of Tribune Company. Dickinson (a distant relative of the poet Emily Dickinson) is a single mother who previously penned a column on family issues for Time magazine and has been regularly featured on National Public Radio's All Things Considered. · iUniverse, a print-on-demand and ebook publisher, has announced the appointment of Susan Driscoll as President and Chief Executive Officer. Driscoll has more than 20 years of publishing industry experience, including roles as Chief Operating Officer and President with publishers under the Holtzbrinck Publishers group, as well as executive roles with HarperCollins Publishers, Inc., and Holt, Rinehart and Winston. iUniverse's interim President and CEO Kimra Hawley, who led the search culminating in Ms. Driscoll's appointment, says that Driscoll's industry background and marketing expertise are an ideal fit for her role at iUniverse. · Primedia Inc., a targeted media company, announced that it has named Lawrence C. Burstein, 50, as the publisher of New York Magazine. As publisher, he will be responsible for managing the sales and marketing teams for New York magazine and for heading the magazine's NYMetro sales force for its online platform, nymetro.com. He will report directly to Dave Ferm, president and CEO of Primedia's Consumer Media and Magazine Group. Mr. Burstein will join the company July 14, 2003. · Primedia Inc. has also announced that Irwin P. Kornfeld has been named vice president and group publisher of Audio/Video and Photographic titles. These include: Audio Video Interiors (AVI), Home Theater, Stereophile, and Stereophile Guide to Home Theater, Petersen's Photographic, Shutterbug and eDigital Photo. Kornfeld brings more than 20 years of experience as a successful media executive and magazine publisher to Primedia. Kornfeld will report directly to Dan Aks, Chief Operating Officer of Primedia's Consumer Magazine Group. · Primedia Inc. also announced that James Magrone, 50, Senior Vice President - Investor Relations, was elected a corporate officer of the company. Mr. Magrone's election to this position is effective immediately and he reports directly to Charles McCurdy, President and Interim CEO of Primedia, Inc. Prior to joining Primedia, Mr. Magrone was with RSL Communications, Ltd., where he served as the company's Treasurer and Vice President of Investor Relations. · PC Magazine has announced the promotion of Wesley Walton to National Associate Publisher. As National Associate Publisher, Mr. Walton will help develop the publication's sales strategy as well as manage the entire sales force. He will report to Tim Castelli, Publisher of PC Magazine and Vice President of the PC Magazine Group. Mr. Walton was previously West Coast Associate Publisher of PC Magazine. · Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. has announced the hiring of Linda Corradina as Senior Vice President, Executive Producer, Martha Stewart Living Television. In her new post, Ms. Corradina is executive producer of the daily television program, Martha Stewart Living (MSLTV), executive producer of the cable programs from Martha's Kitchen, from Martha's Home, and from Martha's Garden, as well as for MSLTV's new syndicated program Petkeeping with Marc Morrone. · RR Donnelley announced that John C. Campanelli, president of RR Donnelley Logistics, has been promoted to president of RR Donnelley's print business. This business is responsible for magazine, book, telephone directory and catalog/retail insert printing as well as premedia services. In conjunction with this announcement, RR Donnelley promoted William R. McLennan to president of RR Donnelley Logistics. These promotions are effective immediately. · Encyclopaedia Britannica, Inc. announced the appointment of veteran publishing executive Michael Ross as senior vice president, corporate development. Ross, who was previously executive vice president and publisher at World Book, Inc., will be responsible for leading the creation of a new line of reference and education products for Britannica. · Scripps Networks has named Bob Baskerville as the new head of its how-to network. Baskerville, who replaces former DIY president Jim Zarchin, previously served as senior vice president of production for Scripps Productions, a full-service television production unit exclusively serving DIY and sister networks HGTV, Food Network and Fine Living. A 20-year veteran in the broadcast and cable industry, Baskerville will oversee all aspects of DIY. He will draw from his nine years with Scripps Productions, where he oversaw the production of Restore America, White House Christmas, The Best Of, and Food Finds, as well as his experience during a six-year tenure at E! Entertainment Television in Los Angeles. · Miami Herald Executive Editor Tom Fiedler has introduced a new, senior newsroom leadership team for The Miami Herald.

· Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive (WPNI) and Yahoo! announced a content distribution agreement that will bring washingtonpost.com news stories to Yahoo! News. The agreement also includes a new "Washington Insider" weekly feature that will highlight washingtonpost.com political news and commentary on Yahoo! News. Each business day, washingtonpost.com will supply Yahoo! News with at least five full text news stories along with relevant photos or images to be placed in the Yahoo! Top Stories, Tech and Politics sections. Each of the washingtonpost.com articles will include links to other washingtonpost.com news or features, along with a search box allowing users to search washingtonpost.com directly from Yahoo! News. · Delta Education, LLC, an educational publishing company, has announced its acquisition of Modern Learning Press, Inc. (MLP), a division of Touchstone Applied Science Associates, Inc. Over the past 30 years, MLP has developed and published supplemental education materials for the elementary school market with a focus on reading and language arts. In addition to supplemental materials, MLP publishes books that address school readiness, assessment, teaching, and parenting issues.
