NAPCO Announces Graphic & Design Business Magazine

Posted on September 19, 2003

North American Publishing Company, a publisher of magazines, newsletters, and websites, has announced the fall 2003 launch of Graphic & Design Business Magazine. The premier issue of Graphic & Design Business will debut in October 2003. It will be published as a quarterly in 2004. The magazine is written for owners of design firms and large creative department managers featuring coverage of the firms, people, products, technologies, services, and business methods that comprise the graphic design industry.

Graphic & Design Business will begin with a controlled circulation of 10,000 highly targeted readers responsible for design budgets in excess of $1 million. That figure will increase to 25,000 by 2004. Qualified readers include design firm owners, agency and corporate art department managers, and art department managers of large consumer magazines and catalogues who are responsible for million dollar budgets.

"Our research of the graphic design market revealed that there was a demand for information on technology, workflow and business management not available in other graphics publications," said Mark Hertzog, Group Publisher, Graphic & Design Business. "This magazine will serve this niche of owners of graphic design firms and heads of design departments with laser precision accuracy -- to help them improve their operations. Consequently it also offers advertisers a unique vehicle to reach this coveted audience who buys and specifies billions of dollars in printing, paper and design software and technology for their organizations and clients."

Graphic & Design Business is the newest member of NAPCO's PrintMedia Group, which focuses exclusively on professionals in creative, production and print workflow. The PrintMedia Group also includes PrintMedia, BookTech Magazine, In-Plant Graphics, PrintMedia InBox newsletter, and websites associated with the PrintMedia group properties.
