Vision Media and Communications, LLC is set to launch a publication for minority golf enthusiasts this coming March called The Green Magazine. The new magazine will feature sports personality and avid golf enthusiast Michael Jordan on the first cover. The launching cover features Mr. Jordan at his annual Celebrity Golf Classic, which took place at the One & Only Ocean Club resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas January 7-11, 2004.

The Green's editorial content will feature high-profile personalities and accomplished business and civic leaders, dining and night life, business and finance, and equipment highlights. Vision Media and Communications, LLC, will follow up with the launch of a lifestyle magazine television program in late 2004. The program will be launched as The Green TV. Together, The Green Magazine and The Green TV will target six million minority golf enthusiasts, 15% of the total number of golfers,.

Ranging from celebrity golf lifestyle and golf etiquette to travel and leisure to financial planning tips, arts and entertainment, The Green Magazine will encompass a growing, multicultural plethora of "the good life", for and about those who can testify as to the American dream. Each issue and program will profile one of the minority community's best-kept secrets or most flaunted gems. Celebrities, sports figures, actors, entertainers and America's minority corporate executives will be the familiar faces to look out for.

"The Green Magazine is intended to fill a growing void in the affluent golf community that has been long ignored," said Rafael Martinez, founder and CEO, "by providing this market with features, fashion, entertainment and products that will not only speak to them, but to all golfers by highlighting the greatest and upcoming African-American and Hispanic golf enthusiasts among them. It's about highlighting similarities in skills, and a common passion for the game that the average player has with high-profile personality."

The Green Magazine and The Green TV are subsidiaries of Vision Media and Communications, LLC, currently based in New York City. Founded and owned by CEO, Rafael Martinez, the entrepreneurial venture has been a vision in the works for the past two years.
