LowCarbiz Launches Business-to-Business Magazine

Posted on March 5, 2004

LowCarbiz, the publisher of a weekly online newsletter that covers the low-carb industry, will launch a four-color, business-to-business magazine -- LowCarbiz Magazine -- beginning in April 2004. In 2004, LowCarbiz Magazine will appear three times. In 2005, LowCarbiz plans to offer the magazine quarterly.

The LowCarbiz Magazine will reach more than 8,000 retail buyers, executives and business owners with a financial stake in the low-carb industry. Among the recipients of the publication will be retail buyers for the major grocery, supermarket, discount outlets and restaurant chains, as well as owners of dedicated low-carb retail stores. Secondary circulation will include manufacturers, distributors, brokers and ingredient producers.

"The new magazine will be the most efficient way imaginable for manufacturers of great low-carb products and services to showcase their offerings to the retailing and restaurant communities," said Dean Rotbart, chairman and executive editor of LowCarbiz.

Each four-color issue of LowCarbiz Magazine will feature articles, profiles, news updates and "how-to" columns. Frequent topics include: shifting consumer tastes and habits; medical and scientific updates; industry trends; regulatory issues; innovation; best practices and a regular low-carb/controlled-carb cartoon strip.

LowCarbiz Magazine is produced in conjunction with the weekly online newsletter, LowCarbiz. The electronic newsletter is read by people in the low-carb/controlled-carb industry. Both LowCarbiz Magazine and the weekly newsletter are publications of TJFR Group, Inc. Founded in 1987; TJFR provides business trade newsletters, magazines and conferences.
