FireSafe People Magazine Launched

Posted on March 12, 2004

FireSafe People magazine has been launched by People Media Group. The publication is targeted at people living in urban interface zones. Published twice yearly in a 10"x12" glossy format, it will reach Southern California homeowners with feature articles on how to live well while living in a fire zone. The first issue will be distributed in Spring 2004 to coincide with the mailing of brush clearance notices to homeowners.

FireSafe People is an advertising-supported requested circulation magazine that will also be distributed to City, County and State Fire Departments, Fire Safe Councils, fire prevention agencies and insurance companies involved in fire safety and emergency response. FireSafe People is currently soliciting advertising, articles, editorials, press releases and introduction to fire experts and listings of helpful websites for homeowners. Topics will range widely from heroes of the California wildfires to planting a fire-safe garden.

"Advertisers with FireSafe People include luxury goods, trucks and automobiles, travel and recreation, home furnishings and homeowner services such as insurance providers, builders and real estate companies," said John Lockhart, publisher of FireSafe People.
