Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, developed by Ubisoft beat runner-up Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, by just one vote for Game of the Year. Among the other awards, the popular game Soul Calibur II, developed by Namco took Multiplatform Game of the Year.
