The new line will be sold at department, book and specialty stores nationwide this summer and will feature five signature Karen Neuburger designs. "Writing is therapeutic for many people and we are thrilled to be offering our clients another item that will bring them personal comfort," said Dustin Eber, president of KN Ltd. "In addition, this new offering enables us to partner with one of today's most highly regarded publishing companies. It's a win-win for all involved." The venture combines the look and feel of Neuburger's signature line of sleepwear, home accessories and newly released scrapbooking materials with the manufacturing expertise of Cedco, which publishes Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Flavia, and other gift books and calendars. Cedco Publishing Company has been in business for more than twenty-five years. Started in the late '70s by Charles E. Ditlefsen (the CED in the name Cedco), the company began as a publisher of train calendars. "The name Karen Neuburger is synonymous with sophistication, femininity and comfort, and we are very excited about this agreement," said Charles E. Ditlefsen, president and CEO of Cedco Publishing Company. "A personal writing journal is a natural fit for the Karen Neuburger line of offerings and we are pleased that they have chosen to partner with us on this venture." The journals will include a special edition print "The Pink Ribbon Signature Collection," which the Karen Neuburger brand designed specifically to help in the fight against breast cancer. Proceeds will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. KN Ltd. is the lifestyle design company that owns the trademark rights for the brand name, Karen Neuburger.
