IWJ Features Interviews With Robert Newcomb and Mariah Stewart

The May/June issue of The Internet Writing Journal features an exclusive interview with bestselling fantasy novelist Robert Newcomb. Newcomb is the author of the popular The Chronicles of Blood and Stone saga, which was sold to Random House as a three book deal, in the largest fantasy contract awarded to a first-time author in the U.S. In the interview, Newcomb discusses his latest novel, The Scrolls of The Ancients, his move from the business world to the publishing world, and the controversy that surrounds his female villains.

The May/June issue also features an exclusive interview with bestselling novelist Mariah Stewart. After writing contemporary romances, Stewart recently started writing romantic suspense and thrillers. Her newest release, Dead Wrong (Ballantine) is a gripping serial killer thriller, which is the first in a trilogy. Dead Certain and Dead Even will be released later this summer. Mariah talks about her new suspense series, about her second career as a novelist and what it's like to get inside the head of a serial killer.

This issue's articles include: "Ironing While Watching TV" by British novelist Alex Keegan, "Perseverance: the Key to the Doors of Success, Part I" by syndicated radio show host and CEO of CQK Music & Records, Mary Dawson; "A Giant Leap for Auslan Storytelling" by Australian children's author Hazel Edwards; and "How to Parent Your Book: Six Rules for Writers" by Tarn Wilson. The issue also includes book reviews in several genres: children's, computers, fantasy/sf, general fiction, mystery, nonfiction, romance and writing.
