Creative Light Launches Reality TV Community

Posted on July 23, 2004

Creative Light Entertainment, a production company, has announced thefishbowl.com, an interactive community for reality TV stars and their fans. The Fishbowl will launch late summer 2004 as an internet subscription service. The Fishbowl DVD, Reality Unleashed, and The Fishbowl website will be the first two products released under The Fishbowl banner. The Fishbowl is slated to launch in August for a quarterly subscription fee of $24.95.

The Fishbowl, which will launch with over 20 reality stars from leading shows, provides reality show actors with a new outlet for self expression and reality fans entry into the community of reality TV stars. Creative Light said The Fishbowl will enable reality stars to profit on their personal brand as participants in the online community as well as through products developed around their specific talents. The site will feature the new adventures of the participants' lives, loves and careers. The stars will also become co-producers for their own material.

"The stars of reality television have been vetted by an intense network casting process and ultimately by the fans. They are charismatic people comfortable with living in a fishbowl. This site will be the only place where millions of fans can interact with their daily lives," said Scott Zakarin, CEO, Creative Light Entertainment. "Creative Light's film and television company will contribute to their ongoing adventures by producing multiplatform projects that feature these popular stars."
