Silicon Valley Magazine is glossy new magazine that will cover the the people, places, businesses, non-profits, arts, and technologies that comprise te Silicon Valley region. The premier issue will cover October and November. A monthly publication is set for January-February 2005. The seed of the idea for the new magazine were publisher/CEO Rick Amor, previously a practicing attorney, and co-publisher Pete Constant, a local photographer and businessman. Amor and Constant were able to lure award-winning artist and painter Daniel Huenergardt into the fold.

"We're extremely proud to announce the publication of Silicon Valley Magazine, the new monthly periodical for Silicon Valley residents, businesses and visitors. Silicon Valley Magazine is unlike any other city or regional magazine ever launched in the San Jose/Silicon Valley region," said Publisher/CEO Rick Amor.

Each issue of Silicon Valley Magazine will contain a different editorial focus, while maintaining the common thread that ties the content to the impact by or upon Silicon Valley. The premier issue zooms in on the revolutionary impact MP3/Digital Audio technology has had on the recording industry and also the way listeners now gather and listen to their music. A secondary technology feature will be the evolution of photography, from its inception to the last digital innovations. In addition to its feature articles the magazine will also carry continuing departments, such as Home & Design, Health & Wellness, Real Estate, Arts & Entertainment, a Dining and Entertainment Guide, and sections highlighting non-profit organizations and area businesses.
