Banner Advertising


Banners are sold based on the number of banner impressions you purchase. Impressions are based on Cost Per Thousand Impressions or the CPM Rate. We currently rotate the standard banner size, 728 x 90, throughout our network on the top of each of our webpages. The maximum banner size is 20k. Both animated and static banners are accepted. Buttons


In addition to banners, we offer smaller, static sponsorship buttons on selected pages.

Sponsorship buttons are sized at 120 (width) x 60 (height) pixels. An example is displayed below:

Text Advertorials


A Text Advertorial is a block of text and a small graphic which is integrated into our editorial content. A small, text graphic in gray indicates to our readers that the text is an advertisement. Specs for graphic and text: Max height: 100 pixels, Max width: 100 pixels, under 10k, .gif format, animations acceptable up to three screens, 50 words of text, 6 word headline in initial caps, all caps not allowed. Link to your website; no email links. Click throughs on Text Advertorials are tracked through a referrer. Text and graphic must be approved in advance.

Skyscraper Ads


A Skyscraper Ad is a large graphic located along the right side of a page on interior pages of the website. Specs: 120 width x 600 height, gif format, maximum size 15k Rates: Sold on a CPM basis (Cost Per Thousand Page Impressions)

Reports indicating impressions and click-through rates will be generated monthly throughout the advertising campaign.

Employers looking for writing-related employment including journalists, editors, staff writers and technical writers can place job listings on The Write JobsTM, located at: http://www.writejobs.com. The minimum placement for a job ad is 5 weeks. The cost for a job ad is $45 for 5 weeks, $85 for 10 weeks. Package discounts are available. Job ads are updated daily on U.S. business days.
