Realms of Fantasy Ceases Publication Realms of Fantasy is ceasing publication. The publication's website announced that the April 2009 issue will be the last issue.
"Dear Readers: We're sorry to report that the April 2009 issue of Realms of Fantasy Magazine will be the last. Thank you very much for your support these many years!"A Locus article on ROF's closing says one of the reasons the magazine had to close is, "We're shelved in the back of the bookstores.
