Conde Nast is going to make the plunge into newsstand specials. Magazines that will participate include The New Yorker, GQ, Glamour, Bon Appetit and Vogue. Crain's New Yorkreports that Conde Nast has been resisting the move to newstand specials because of its belief that they could cheap the brands.
