Cahners Changes Name to Reed Business InformationCahners is dropping its name in a rebranding effort. Cahners Business Information announced it is changing its name to Reed Business Information (RBI), effective immediately. Accompanying the new name, Reed Business Information will unveil a new corporate identity that will more closely align it with Reed Elsevier.
Reed Business Information now incorporates Cahners Business Information (U.S.), Elsevier Business Information (Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain and Italy), and Reed Business Information (U.K., Asia and Australia), which together with Reed Exhibitions (Worldwide) form Reed Business. Reed's media publications include Variety, Multichannel News, Wireless Week, Broadcasting & Cable Publishers Weekly, Library Journal and others.
