Posted on January 24, 2000

DailyClips.com has announced the launch of its political news and information website. The new site offers a listing of daily political and governmental news linked from online publications. DailyClips.com staff members search online publications for stories relevant to politics and government and prepare a list of headline links sorted by topic.

Adam Stoll, a co-founder of the site, says in a statement, "To this day, thousands of staffers and interns spend every morning cutting up newspapers to prepare a set of clips for their office, DailyClips.com will make that 20th Century practice obsolete. Anyone with access to the Internet can get their own clip package online, first thing in the morning."

DailyClips.com currently clips over 50 national online publications every morning. The list of clipped publications will expand weekly and there will be special coverage sections of major events such as the Presidential Primaries. The site also offers a collection of links to government, political, interest groups and press websites.

DailyClips co-founder and newspaper publisher Ira Brody, says, "By the November elections, we expect DailyClips.com to be the most utilized source of political and government information in the country. Its convenience and easy to use format will allow DailyClips.com to develop a loyal following of daily users."

Update: The DailyClips site is no longer active.
