Jill Herzig Named Editor in Chief of Dr. Oz Magazine

Jill Herzig has been named editor in chief of Dr. Oz The Good Life magazine, which debuted in February with a pilot issue. Herzig was previously editor in chief of Redbook. She replaces Alison Brower, who is leaving the company to rejoin The Hollywood Reporter.The official launch of The Good Life will be the August/September issue. It will move to a 10 issues per year frequency next year. Hearst expects Dr. Oz to grow from a rate base of 450,000 in 2015.
Dr. Oz says in a statement, "I feel at home at Hearst and I love the magazine we're creating.
