WSJ Interactive Announces New Resource for Job Hunters

Posted on January 15, 1998

Careers.wsj.com, The Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition's job-search Web site for managerial and executive jobs, announced an exclusive arrangement with Kennedy Information, the leading provider of research and information on executive recruiting, which will make available an extensive, searchable database of executive recruiters specializing in thousands of professions.

With the Kennedy database, a premium service with a basic search charge of $30 on the free careers.wsj.com site, users will be able to conduct a focused online search of executive recruiters by geographic location, industry and position to target the best match for their job searches. Under the agreement, careers.wsj.com becomes the exclusive online resource for Kennedy's comprehensive database of more than 10,000 executive recruiters.

In addition to the database, Kennedy will provide editorial content for the human-resources community. The new content will be integrated with frequently updated sections of career-related features from The Wall Street Journal in print, the Interactive Journal and the National Business Employment Weekly, also published by Dow Jones.
