Ajax Media Launches Cyber Sweeps Magazine

Ajax Media, a publisher of media ratings trade magazines, has announced the launch of Cyber Sweeps Magazine, a source for Internet audience and e-commerce behavioral data and analysis. Media Metrix, a provider of Internet and Digital Media audience measurement, provides a selection of its audience and e-commerce measurement data to Ajax Media for interpretation and publication in Cyber Sweeps.

Cyber Sweeps' format is based on sister publications Cable Sweeps, which covers audience data in the cable television industry, and the Sweeps Book, which covers television ratings data. The publication, which will be unveiled at the @d:tech conference (Nov. 1-3 in New York City), will be sent quarterly to executives in the advertising, Internet, production and distribution, financial and broadcast communities.

"Cyber Sweeps translates Media Metrix data into a format that specific client sectors and media executives will get great utility out of. This publication makes Media Metrix numbers even easier to use," said Jim D'Arcangelo, senior vice president, business development, of Media Metrix.
