AltaVista and Women.com Create Women's Channel

AltaVista Company, a media network majority owned by CMGI Inc., and Women.com Networks, Inc., a content provider for women, have announced Women.com will be the exclusive content provider for a co-branded Women's channel on the AltaVista Network. Under terms of a three-year agreement, Women.com will provide content and original programming to the new AltaVista Live! Women's channel.

Women's channel demonstrates AltaVista's determination to bring premier Web-wide content to this important demographic in the fastest, most relevant way possible.''
