American Experience Online Launches New Season

The American Experience Online has announced America 1900 from PBS's acclaimed history series, which is newly designed for 1998-99. The America 1900 site launches Monday, November 16, 1998, on PBS Online at.
The American ExperienceE, winner of the 1998 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Non-fiction Series, produces a companion website for each new program in the series, with interactive features, timeliness, RealAudio Interviews and teacher guides. Coming in January: "Race for the Superbomb", a website examining the competition between the United States and the Soviet Union to build a hydrogen bomb.
PBS Online, PBS's award-winning site on the Web, produces high-quality Web programming as it pioneers the convergence of television and the Internet. PBS Online features more than 50,000 pages of content as well as companion Web sites for more than 300 PBS programs and specials.
