American Lawyer Media Names Marjorie Weiner New Publisher for Philadelphia Division

American Lawyer Media, Inc. (ALM) has announced the appointment of Marjorie A. Weiner as Publisher of its Philadelphia Division. Most recently a Vice President and Group Publisher at Baskerville Communications Corporation in London, Weiner succeeds Jane Seagrave, who will assume full-time responsibility for several corporate projects now under development.

In addition, ALM named two new associate publishers: Harry J. Alba, Jr., currently Vice President of Sales for ALM's Philadelphia Division, and Zan Hale, currently the Division's Editor in Chief. Both will retain their current titles and responsibilities, in addition to their new roles as associate publishers.

Weiner will be responsible for overseeing ALM's publishing operations in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Wilmington, DE. Her role will comprise editorial direction and overall management of the division's publications including The Legal Intelligencer, Pennsylvania Law Weekly, Delaware Law Weekly and Delaware Corporate Law Reporter.
