Angela's Ashes To Be Published In Trade Paperback

Touchstone Books is announcing a May 25, 1999 publication date and 750,000 copy first printing of the trade paperback edition of Frank McCourt's Pulitzer Prize-winning classic, Angela's Ashes. Mark Gompertz, publisher of Touchstone said, "I am proud that this publication marks the start of a new year of increased success for Angela's Ashes. Supported by a $500,000 advertising campaign including print and television ads, Angela's Ashes will be highly visible and accessible in bookstores nationwide and other locations where books are sold in floor displays and other retail merchandising vehicles.

The hardcover edition of Angela's Ashes has been published in over 25 languages and has more than 2.5 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.
