Bloomberg and Charles Schwab Launch On Investing Magazine

Marking the debut of its Custom Publishing Group, financial news leader Bloomberg L.P. has teamed with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. on a quarterly personal investment magazine created exclusively for Schwab's top retail clients.

Titled On Investing, the magazine will reach clients who are enrolled in Schwab Signature Services, a new program that gives high-net-worth and active investors the tools and guidance they need to gain an edge in today's markets. "On Investing draws on the unparalleled editorial resources and expert perspective of Bloomberg L.P. to serve the needs of Schwab's affluent clients," said Dave Dean, the Schwab marketing director who is overseeing the project.

The launch of the Custom Publishing Group follows a year of aggressive expansion for Bloomberg's magazine group under new publisher David Wachtel, who has also overseen the redesign of Bloomberg Magazine, ambitious new marketing for Bloomberg Personal Finance, and the recent launch of Bloomberg Wealth Manager. The Custom Publishing Group is headed by general editor Ellen Cannon, former managing editor of Bloomberg Personal Finance.

"On Investing draws on all the resources of Bloomberg," Wachtel said. "Like Charles Schwab & Co., Bloomberg has been a leader in the move to make markets more transparent by providing cutting-edge content directly to investors."
