Bloomberg Executive Jeffrey Rothfeder Named Managing Editor at CNBC

Jeffrey Rothfeder has been named to the position of Managing Editor at CNBC. The appointment was announced by CNBC's Senior Vice President Business News Bruno Cohen. As Managing Editor at CNBC, Rothfeder will be responsible for the network's business news coverage and content. He will start on Monday, July 20th and will report directly to Bruno Cohen. Continuing to report to Cohen are Executive Producers David Friend, Mark Hoffman and Kevin Magee, who are responsible for all business news programs. Larry Moscow, Director of Business News Programming, will also continue to report to Cohen.

Rothfeder joins CNBC from his position as National News Editor at Bloomberg News where, since 1992, he has managed the coverage of U.S. and Canadian companies, supervising a staff of over 200 editors and reporters in the production of 1,000 print, audio and video stories a day, including features, profiles, columns and breaking news for 700 print newspapers, electronic newspapers, Bloomberg magazines, radio and TV.
