BusinessWeek BooksTo Publish First Book On Asian Financial Crisis

BusinessWeek Books, an imprint of McGraw-Hill, announced that it will publish the first complete look at the continuing Asian financial crisis. Asia Falling: Making Sense of the Asian Crisis and its Aftermath by Callum Henderson will be published as a hardcover on May 29, 1998.

In discussing the publication, Philip Ruppel, Vice President and Group Publisher, Business and General Reference, credited the global network of McGraw-Hill and its affiliates in securing this timely and authoritative analysis. The Asian crisis has been the subject of magazine cover stories and newspapers headlines for several months. Corporations around the world, including some of the largest in the U.S., have taken charges against earnings, reflecting the serious financial problems in Asia.
