Cahners Business Information Launches Supermarketworld.com

Cahners Business Information has launched Supermarketworld.com, a website that provides 24-hour news and information on the international retail grocery industry to grocery retailers and food manufacturers. Supermarketworld.com includes 40-50 breaking news stories, updated throughout the day, on mergers and acquisitions, new products and technology, product recalls, personnel changes and trends in the international retail grocery industry.

Supermarketworld.com is the first Web-only magazine launched by Cahners, a business-to-business publisher. Other Cahners online initiatives include Manufacturing Marketplace, an Internet resource for manufacturing and engineering professionals; and e-inSITE, an Internet resource for engineers and managers in the Electronic Original Equipment Manufacturer (EOEM) market.

Thousands of users signed up for our daily news feed even before we launched the site," said Brian Langille, Cahners group vice president for the food service, lodging and retail jewelry industries.
