Posted on August 20, 1998

David P. Chernicoff has accepted the position of Senior Technical Editor for Windows NT Magazine. Chernicoff was formerly with Ziff-Davis Publishing.

"We are delighted to have David on the Windows NT Magazine team," editor Karen Forster said. "He is an important addition to our editorial staff. David was known around Ziff as 'Mr. NT,' and I know he'll be instrumental in helping our magazine maintain its leadership position and make it even more useful to our growing audience."

Before accepting the position at Windows NT Magazine, Chernicoff was Technical Director for Ziff's PC Week and Windows Sources magazines. At Windows Sources he was responsible for developing coverage of Windows NT products and wrote a monthly column on Windows NT. He also assisted with Windows NT coverage on other Ziff-Davis publications.

Interviewed in Loveland, Colorado, where Windows NT Magazine is based, Chernicoff said that he looks forward to working with the magazine in its primary mission of helping Windows NT professionals do their jobs better. "Although Windows NT Magazine is relatively young," he added, "there's no doubt in my mind that it's already the primary resource for Windows NT implementers." Chernicoff will telecommute from his east coast location, making frequent trips to Colorado to interface with the publisher and staff.

Windows NT Magazine is published by Duke Communications International, publisher of Selling Windows NT Solutions, NEWS/400, Selling AS/400 Solutions and Business Finance. The company also publishes books, newsletters, e-mail newsletters, and CD-ROM products, as well as presenting and sponsoring seminars and shows in its various market niches.
