ScienceDirect, a provider of a comprehensive electronic database of scientific, technical and medical information, has announced an agreement with CRC Press to make the publisher's complete journals list available through the ScienceDirect online publishing platform.

CRC Press chose ScienceDirect to distribute its journals because it offers global desktop access to the scientific research community. Chris Richardson, publisher of CRC Press Journals, says "CRC's journals are now able to make its review and primary journal content available to the members of the ScienceDirect institutional community. We look forward to a long-standing relationship with the publishers of ScienceDirect providing a valuable service to this community."

"The publisher is a leader of a diverse group of chemical, biological and food service review journals and our mutual subscribers will benefit greatly from the ability to access their journals on ScienceDirect," said Pat Sabosik, vice president and general manager of ScienceDirect. CRC Press
