Cygnus Imaging Group Adds New Editors

Cygnus Business Media announced the addition of two seasoned journalists to the Cygnus Imaging Group, both will serve as editors for several of their popular publications. The Cygnus Imaging Group publishes magazines serving the photographic and imaging marketplace.

Alysha Sideman will become the associate editor of Studio Photography & Design and Digital Imaging. Prior to joining the company she was associate editor of the Queens Chronicle where she was responsible for cultivating leads and sources for articles covering the Queens area. She was assistant communications director for Court TV Network, writing and editing for the network's publications - In Session and What's on Court TV.

"Alysha is an award-winning journalist with contacts and experience in various points of the imaging marketplace," says Kathy Schneider, group publisher of the Cygnus Imaging Group. "We are fortunate to add someone of her caliber and diverse skills to our magazines."

Jean Bishop joins as senior editor of Studio Photography & Design, Digital Imaging and Photo Trade News. Ms. Bishop previously worked with Arrow Electronics writing and editing Distribution Designs magazine and several company-produced newsletters.

Studio Photography & Design magazine produces focused and informative editorial on commercial, portrait, digital, fine art, wedding and event photography and has a combined circulation of over 50,000. Photo Trade News, with a circulation of over 12,000, covers the dynamic imaging marketplace, delivering editorial on industry trends, the latest products, profiles of successful retailers and merchandising suggestions. Digital Imaging is targeted directly to users of graphic imaging services with a circulation over 70,000.
