Cygnus Publishing Acquires Magazines from Continental Communications

Cygnus Publishing announced that it has acquired RV Trade Digest and Sports Truck Accessory Digest from Continental Communications. Both magazines will continue to be published in Elkhart, Indiana. Kip Czoch, President of Continental Communications will continue as publisher of both magazines.

"We realized we needed additional publishing resources to grow both publications," said Czoch. "Cygnus Publishing has those resources and can see the incredible potential for these market segments."

The RV industry is expected to grow significantly as aging Baby Boomers continue to move into their retirement years. The sports utility vehicle industry is the hottest automotive growth market and the sale of accessories has become a very large segment of the automotive aftermarket.

RV Trade Digest was launched in 1980 by Czoch's father, Matthew. It currently reaches more than 16,000 distributors, manufacturers, dealers and service suppliers of recreational vehicles. Sports Truck Accessory Digest launched in 1995 and goes to over 15,000 manufacturers, dealers and suppliers to the sports utility vehicle and sports truck market.
