Digital Media Online Adds Industry Veterans To Editorial Team

Digital Media Online, a developer of Web-based vertical communities for the digital media market, has announced the appointment of two industry veterans to its editorial staff.

Frank Moldstad joins as Executive Producer, bringing e experience in the digital media space as a magazine editor and digital studio owner. He has served as Editor-in-Chief of DCC Magazine, PC Graphics & Video, Video Store, and other print publications. His audio facility, Most Studios, has catered to clients ranging from San Francisco to New York. He will oversee the creation of web channels serving the interests of digital video and audio editors, digital animators, and DVD/CD authors.

John Virata joins as Producer for Digital Producer Magazine, a web channel for the digital media marketplace. Prior to joining Digital Media Online he has held the positions of Managing Editor of DCC Magazine and Digital Studio Magazine, was on the staff of NewTekniques and began his career in professional publishing at Micro Publishing where he assisted in the launch of Digital Imaging Magazine.

Digital Media Online will launch in 1999 with over 40 communities organized by vertical market segments. These include streaming media, digital video, animation, effects, desktop publishing, imaging and design, digital audio, CAD, workstations, broadcast and post production, game development and consumer electronics Each channel will provide editorial content and will be updated at least once each business day.
