Ellen Kampinsky has been named editor of Consumer Reports magazine. Ms. Kampinsky will be in charge of selling and executing the strategic direction and vision for the magazine and its digital versions. The print magazine has a circulation of about four million. She will report to Brent Diamond, vice president and general manager, magazine and newsletter products at Consumer Reports.

Prior to joining Consumer Reports, Kampinsky served as a senior editor at Newsweek and The Daily Beast. Her past experience also includes 10 years at Glamour. Kampinsky replaces Kim Kleman, who is now editor-in-chief of American Lawyer magazine.

Her experience will be invaluable as we strive to provide readers with a broad range of information and work together for a fair, just and safe marketplace for all consumers."
