Beginning with the PGA Tour's BellSouth Classic April 1-4 in Duluth, Ga. and continuing with this week's Masters, the combined resources of ESPN.com's golf section and GOLFonline.com will provide golf fans with a mix of golf news, statistics, analysis and feature content. "The marriage of ESPN.com and GOLFonline's assets translates into the Web's premier golf coverage," said Steve Zales, senior vice president and general manager, ESPN Internet Ventures. "This enables us to address the ever-growing popularity of the sport, all the while expanding the breadth of coverage provided by ESPN.com and ESPN Internet Ventures. We are anxious to take advantage of the opportunities made possible by our new relationship with GOLFonline."
