Forbes.com, has announced a new partnership with Bridge Information Systems. Under the terms of the partnership, Bridge will supply Forbes.com with international financial data from G-7 nations. Visitors to the Forbes.com website will have access to 24-hour news updates, stock quotes, charts, and information about currencies, commodities and fixed income securities. This information will be delivered via a new technology known as Bridge Internet Objects, or BIOs.

The Forbes/Bridge agreement is the latest in a series of joint projects between the two companies. The Forbes/Bridge Economic Forecast, a survey of leading economists about their opinions and predictions, has been published in Forbes magazine since September, 1998.

Said Greg Zorthian, acting CEO, Forbes.com: "Our agreement with Bridge will add substantially to Forbes.com's arsenal of tools and information. It will enable us to provide more data, for free, than what is currently available from most other financial Web sites."
