Golden Books Appoints Eric Ellenbogen President

Golden Books Family Entertainment announced the full integration of its publishing and entertainment businesses with the appointment of Eric Ellenbogen as President and Richard Collins as Chief Operating Officer. Both are new positions and both executives will report to Richard E. Snyder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Willa Perlman, president of the former Children's Publishing Group, is leaving the Company to join Hasbro as General Manager of New Business Development.
Ellenbogen, 41, a Golden Books Director and formerly President of the Company's successful Entertainment Division, will be responsible for the development of all of the Company's creative products across all media.
Collins, 46, formerly Executive Vice President of Sales and Retail Marketing, will be responsible for integrating and coordinating the supply chain with his role as head of manufacturing, distribution and sales.
