Hyperion to Launch ESPN Book Line

Hyperion announced today plans to publish a line of books in conjunction with ESPN. The first book, an annual to be published in Fall 1997, will be the "1998 ESPN Information Please Sports Almanac," combining the thorough stats, facts and commentary of the original "Information Please Sports Almanac" with ESPN's unique voice, point of view, and contributions of network personalities like Chris Berman, Dick Vitale, Dan Patrick and Chris Mortensen.

ESPN will support the imprint with a major national cross-promotional campaign with ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Radio and ESPN SportsZone, including on-air promos with ESPN Radio, ESPN SportsZone and Up Close, and a Sunday night feature on SportsCenter with Dan Patrick.
