IDG Announces Agreement With Yahoo Industry Marketplaces

Posted on March 16, 2001 has announced an agreement with Yahoo Inc., an Internet media company, to integrate technology news and information from's network of websites into Yahoo! Industry Marketplaces, a business-to-business destination for information and services. Through the agreement, will provide IT industry news, feature stories, product reviews and related content from publications including PC World, Computerworld, InfoWorld, Network World and Macworld to businesses and professionals.

Jeff Julian, president and publisher,, says in the announcement, "Yahoo is one of the most recognized global and consumer brands, making it an ideal outlet for IDG to extend its reach to a broader group of technology enthusiasts and IT professionals. Millions of visitors who already use Yahoo! will now benefit from's trusted resource of technology news, features, product reviews and email newsletters."
