Imagine Media has announced two print magazine launches and two senior appointments.

This summer Imagine will launch Revolution, a new music magazine aimed at the Internet Generation. Revolution will focus on the dance music scene and those artists who are moving music forward into new territories of expression. Revolution launches on July 5th and will be packaged each month with a hybrid CD-ROM containing both audio tracks and digital music tools such as jukeboxes, mixers and MP3 files. Revolution's web presence will be branded PlanetRevolution.com.

In October, Imagine will launch Total Movie, a monthly magazine aimed at men and focusing on blockbuster and action movies. Total Movie willbe packaged with a DVD containing editorial content as well as trailers, clips and other movie related media.

Jonathan Simpson-Bint, President of Imagine's Entertainment Division said, ``It is an absolutely natural step for us to broaden out into music and movies. These are companion markets to the games market and there are huge and ever growing synergies between these markets, our core reader and advertiser bases.''

Steve Aaron also joins Imagine as Publisher of Total Movie. Until recently Steve was Publisher and Senior Vice President of Hachette's Premiere magazine.
