Imagine Media to Merge PC Accelerator Magazine Into DailyRadar.com

Imagine Media, Inc. has announced a strategic decision to cease publishing PC Accelerator Magazine in favor of moving the magazine's PC gaming content onto the Internet through DailyRadar.com. Ending its final print run with the June 2000 issue, PC Accelerator and all of its editorial staff will become part of the DailyRadar.com interactive entertainment portal.
Jonathan Simpson-Bint, President of Imagine Media's Entertainment Division notes that, ``There are many ways in which this is an obtuse move for us to make. A hard core base of readers and the games industry loves PC Accelerator. But it is wasn't maximizing its full potential by staying solely in print - that it is capable of delivering far more reader value on line where its style and tone rides so much more comfortably. By having PC Accelerator's editorial team join DailyRadar.com, we can deliver what readers already have an affinity for - only now, it's delivered on a daily basis and across the entire entertainment spectrum.''
