Ingrid S. Krampe Named Group Editor-in-Chief for Cygnus Imaging Publications

Cygnus Business Media announced the appointment of Ingrid S. Krampe as Group Editor-in Chief for some of their most popular imaging publications. Ms. Krampe will oversee the editorial direction of Studio Photography & Design and Digital Imaging. She will also work with the Cygnus Imaging Group's growing custom publishing business, which currently includes Kodak's POE newsletters and Hasselblad's Reflections newsletter.

"Ingrid brings more than 15 years of experience in the photographic imaging industry both as a writer and photographer," says Kathy Schneider, group publisher of the Cygnus Imaging Group. "She has witnessed first hand the exciting changes and challenges new technology affords many imaging professionals. We look forward to her bringing that first-hand experience to these publications."

Ms. Krampe was most recently senior editor of the Professional Photography Association's publications. She oversaw the editorial for Professional Photographer magazine, soliciting writers for feature articles and images. She also authored several stories within the publication and wrote features for PEI (Photo Electronic Imaging) magazine. She is a graduate of the New England School of Photography and Kennesaw State University where she will receive a Masters in Professional Writing this year.

Digital Imaging provides 35,000 imaging professionals with information and solutions to changing parameters in image capture, manipulation, transmission, output, archiving, and distribution.
